Common questions
What is ADAS?
ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems: features like lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Most of them rely on a camera mounted behind your windshield.
Why does ADAS need recalibration?
Replacing the windshield moves the camera. Even a millimeter or a fraction of a degree changes what it sees. Recalibration realigns the system so your safety features work exactly as designed. We do it in the same appointment, no dealer trip needed.
Can my chip be repaired, or does the glass need replacing?
Chips smaller than a quarter and cracks under a few inches can usually be repaired if they're not in the driver's line of sight or at the edge of the glass. Text us a photo and we'll tell you straight.
Will my insurance cover it?
In Arizona, most comprehensive policies cover glass, many with zero deductible. We work with all insurance companies and handle the claim for you. Prefer to skip insurance? We'll quote a competitive cash price.
How long until I can drive?
The adhesive needs about an hour to reach safe drive-away strength. Most appointments take 1 to 2 hours total, including calibration. We'll let you know exactly when you're good to go.
Do you really come to me?
Yes: home, office, or anywhere in the Phoenix Valley. There's no extra charge for mobile service. All we need is a place to park next to your vehicle.
